Community & Designer Terms
These terms apply when you share ("publish") a design to the LAIMA community and earn a commission on sales. By publishing a design you agree to the following, in addition to our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
1. You must own the rights to your design
- You may only publish designs that you created and own all rights to.
- Your design must not contain any third-party, copyrighted, or trademarked content — including but not limited to other people's artwork or designs, brand names and logos, cartoon or fictional characters, celebrity names or likenesses, sports teams, or any material you do not have the legal right to use.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your design does not infringe anyone's intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights.
2. LAIMA may remove any listing
- LAIMA reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to remove, reject, hide, or refuse to produce or sell any design or listing, with or without notice and for any reason — including suspected IP infringement, offensive or unlawful content, or a violation of these terms.
- Removing a listing does not by itself entitle you to any payment beyond commissions already validly earned on completed sales.
3. License you grant to LAIMA
- By publishing a design, you grant LAIMA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, print, manufacture, market, and sell products featuring your design through LAIMA and its fulfillment partners.
- You keep ownership of your design; this license lasts while your design is listed and as needed to fulfill orders and support already-placed orders.
4. Commissions & payouts
- Each item sold generates a commission pool of 10% of the item price actually paid (after any discount, before shipping and tax). LAIMA runs promotions and may issue discount codes of approximately 10–15% to customers or customer segments at its discretion; where a buyer uses such a code, commission is calculated on the discounted amount. Commissions are only earned on completed, paid, non-refunded orders.
- That pool is allocated per item as follows:
- Someone buys through your link and the design is their own — you receive the full 10% as the referrer.
- Someone buys through your link and the design belongs to another creator — the pool is split evenly: 5% to you as the referrer and 5% to the designer.
- Someone buys your design without being referred — you receive the full 10% as the designer.
- A referral is credited for purchases made within 3 days of clicking your link. Where a visitor has clicked more than one creator's link within that window, the most recently clicked link determines the referrer.
- Self-purchases through your own link do not earn a commission.
- All products are custom-printed to order and are not returnable or exchangeable except for quality defects, damage, or an incorrect item. If an order is cancelled or refunded, any commission earned on it is reversed and deducted from your balance. Placing orders to generate commission and then seeking refunds is abuse of the program and may result in withheld commissions and removal from the program.
- Payouts are made by PayPal or Venmo once your balance reaches a $10 minimum, after you request a payout and provide a valid payout account. Commissions tied to refunded or cancelled orders may be reversed.
- You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings.
5. Your responsibility
- You agree to indemnify and hold LAIMA harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your design or your breach of these terms.
- You must not publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable.
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to keep a design published means you accept the current terms.
